Timeline:(full, timeline supporting text with Autonation is available)

– Partial payment:( $1200.00, P00000000672103853 ) for work to be completed on the car ($1200)
April: transmission not working start making arrangements to be without a truck, and get the truck fixed.

-April 16 2018-:Complete payment($1200.00, P00000000336374350 & $1130.00 P00000000 579585494 & $12000.00, P00000000336374350 ) for overhaul transmission, replaced all damaged parts. Full inspections and tear down. 3-year unlimited mills guaranteed backed by Ford and signed off a second time by the service department that it is backed by him (2 years) on all work. (If all the parts are good and it is not running, it had to be put together wrong).

-April 16 2018-: Full payment on the end of April 16, 2018, is $3530.22

May 20, 2019-: Transmission not working, went in to find out what to do, if an appointment is needed. I was told just bring it in and it will be taken care of, it is under warranty.

-May 21, 2019 (me): The truck towed by AAA.

-June 20, 2019, (me): “ hope you well. Wondering when is a time to get the excretion. ETA?
-June 20, 2019, (Autonation): “doing ok pretty backed with work in the shop. I’ll call u in a lil while.

-I now know this is not good, and I am getting ripped of sum how. I can only have written a conversation
-June 20, 2019; (me): “working in a boat kitchen. loud all the time, Text is better.”

-June 20, 2019, (Autonation): ok, the lift that we need for your truck will be freed up by Monday. The transmission department has been swamped. Which is why I made sure u weren’t in a rush to get the truck back the last time we spoke. My goal is to have the truck in the shop by Wednesday of next week. Keep in mind 1 very important detail of the warranty. All the parts that are listed on the previous invoice carry a 2 yr unlimited warranty. we did not replace every single part in the transmission. we did, however, replace everything that needed to be replaced on the last service visit. will you be able to pass by the shop next week? to discuss these matters in person.

-June 20, 2019-: absolutely nothing is done and they are looking to see if I will accept that the 3 year warranty is a 2 year warranty and that I am responsible for every smallest of things “every single part” but they did inspect and “replace all parts that needed to” the point of a 3 year unlimited warranty on there work.

The protocol is to hook the car up to the A diagnostic computer: when the car check engine light is on, it is an indicator that the car computer knows there is a problem and the check light is on. I request that automation hook the car up.

– At this time Autonation people can not charge car batteries,

– Jun 21, (Autonation): “ I had the batteries charging a couple of days ago, but I could session open on the diagnostic computer because the voltage would drop too much. I am going to try to charge them again next week and hopefully they hold a chargrills.

-Whatever it takes to get this on the go I offer to bring 2 new batteries as there is no solution presented to the problem.

-July 02, 2019, (Autonation): Hi sir. I have a truck with some back-ordered parts torn down on our big lift. The new batteries would help a lot. Let me know if ur buddy can drop off two batteries.

-I see it is only for me to get the new battery’s to complete the service.

-July 15, 20019, (Autonation): ” Good morning sir, I haven’t gotten the batteries. Let ur friend know to call me when he is able to drop them off. Its comes out to $29.99 to remove and install each battery. I’ll take care of that for you. As far as electronic testing is concerned, we haven’t been able to communicate with the truck due to low battery voltage-even when connected to a battery charger.”

-Instead of hooking up batteries to complete the job “ the batteries would be helpful” I am told the full tare down of the transition is needed ages, This is just $1200 to open the same to transmission that was just put back together after eating on parts.

-July 15, 20019, (Autonation):” The Technician is going to have to tear down the transmission to see exactly what is broken. You are responsible for transmission teardown ($1,250.00), once the cause of failure is identified I will reference the last repair and see if the same parts have failed. If that is the case, we will replace them at no cost to you. You will not pay teardown as long as the failed parts were replaced on the last visit. Call me when u can to discuss further, if needed.”

-we work out that there will no be a charge for install of the new batteries.

-July 22: I have the two batteries picked up. Has 2 brand new full charged heavy-duty battery’s dropped off? and follow up to see what the ETA is like.

-July 22, me: maybe this week even?

-July 22 : (Autonation): “ I’m still waiting on new batteries…

-July 22,-; My friend dropped them off batteries (July 17th)

-July 24; (Autonation):” Good morning sir. The batteries were dropped off next the truck yesterday. The truck has no transmission codes. We need to tear down the transmission to see what components failed. If they are the same components that were replaced on the last repair the transmission will be fixed under warranty. I need you to authorize teardown in the amount of $1,200.00 before the transmission can be removed and the failed components can be identified. Call me when u can.”

– I get this text and now have no idea what’s going on is the car back together and needs to be taken apart again. ????

-Back to tearing down a transmission that was just put back together and is less than 6000 mills on the first job that has a 3-year warranty from ford and 2 years from (Autonation)

-The last understanding is, ( July 2, Autonation): “I am waiting for back-ordered parts as the truck is all apart on the floor from” & (July 2, Autonation): ” and it would help to have a new battery” .

-or it is taking all this to see there are no codes, and they just finally got the car hooked to the computer? After I dropped off the car 2 months ago it was throwing codes. ?
now magic no codes? or they put it back together and needed the battery’s to test it, It is not throwing codes, they don’t know what’s wrong and are about to dive in a 3 rd time and I need to pay for there incompetence?

-July 24, (me): It’s throwing codes. have to put in gear. The battery’s been off too long

-The car was dropped off with check ENGINE lights, this is to say the car is throwing codes for the computer to be hooked up.

-July 25, (Autonation): Georges, I can tell you that the total labor will be $1,924 + parts+ shop fees+ sales tax. I cannot estimate the parts total until the cause of failure has been identified after the transmission is torn down. I cannot put together a list of options as you will hold me to that list and associated pricing which I cannot guarantee as I do not know what is wrong with the transmission at this point.

screenshot of text with automation.

At this time is when I am putting in a claim. Pretending that they need to tear down the transmission that was dun by them. And the examined all parts for the 3-year warranty. if it is not the transmission (under warranty) why are they taring down the transmission?

  • Paid for: transmission 3-year warranty unlimited miles. What I now have is catastrophic transmission failure.

******We are proud to offer America’s ONE & ONLY 7 Year / Unlimited Mile No Fault Nationwide Engine Warranty… FOR FREE!

7 Year Warranty Unlimited Mile NO FAULT applies to Engines and Transmissions purchased on or after February 7, 2019. *Purchases before this date are 5 Year if qualified.

Remanns.com offers multiple warranties; with each warranty having different benefits. We offer both Standard and No Fault Warranty coverage protection, depending on whether you are having the engine installed at a Shop (NO FAULT) OR you are doing the install yourself DIY or at an unlicensed repair shop (Standard). Of course we encourage all of our customers to have the engines installed at a licensed repair shop to take full advantage of the INDUSTRY’S ONLY FREE 7 YEAR NO FAULT UNLIMITED MILES NATIONWIDE WARRANTY. But we do not discourage DIY installs as long as you understand the warranty is Standard under these conditions, and that labor reimbursement does not apply to DIY installs.

The great majority of our remanufactured engine warranties are 7 Year Unlimited Miles NO FAULT, but there are a few specific exceptions to be aware of. So how do you know which warranty applies to you? We welcome that question, please allow us to educate you in brief, and we promise you will see that it is actually quite an easy determination to make…

The very first step in determining which type of warranty applies to your engine purchase is to GET AN INSTANT QUOTE NOW, if you have not already done so.

Once you have received your free, instant quote; the type of remanufactured engine you order dicates which warranty will apply for you. Your quote details will tell you the type of warranty that applies to the engine itself. Vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, and light trucks are all considered the same under our warranty and have 7 Year coverage. However, Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks (weighing 11,000 pounds or more) as well as Diesel Engines have different warranty terms; coverage is 3 Year Unlimited Miles for these particular vehicle types. Also, if it is a Commercial Fleet vehicle, the coverage is 7 Years (as long as not diesel or medium/heavy duty truck) but there is a 100K mile ceiling on the coverage.

As far as answering the FAQ of whether you qualify for the No Fault warranty or the Standard warranty, we are glad you asked and will answer that question for you now:

IF the engine you purchase is installed at a licensed repair shop, and it is not a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) install, then we offer NO FAULT warranty coverage. If it is a DIY install, coverage policies will not allow no fault protection, however we still offer you a comprehensive Standard warranty package with the exact same coverage term length.

We have a helpful, handy dandy warranty coverage chart here which you will also see below to help make your exact warranty coverage scenario crystal clear. Also, we leave nothing to chance; when you get a quote and place your order, our system will automatically assign the correct warranty based on your engine type and install destination (Shop or DIY). So, you don’t even need to think about it; we’ll ensure you have the proper warranty package at checkout.

Below are the Warranty, Terms, and Conditions.
